Why Shingle?

Shingle is a fantastic way to add decoration to any areas around your garden, including the driveway.

Laying shingle will ensure your garden is virtually maintenance free, you can control weeds and generally there is less gardening to do.

There is a huge range of aggregates available, shingle, stones, pebbles, gravel, slate, rockery, chippings and crushed stone.

There are many different colours, textures and grades (or size), for example pea shingle is very, very small round stones usually laid around areas that may have drainage problems. Rainwater will not waterlog your garden, as the shingle will enable it to seep through and disperse naturally.

Laying shingle will completely transform the look of your outdoor space, and some shingle has a lightening quality, so a dark looking garden will positively glow with its newly laid shingle or stone.
